Problems with umlauts
hi,
i've got some problems with umlauts in search terms, using shortmarks. they don't seem to be encoded right - i wonder, if this is a fixable problem of shortmarks or not.
Shortmarks appears to be handling umlauts correctly, but some sites aren’t treating special characters properly.

I see what you mean on Amazon and IMDB but I don't see a way to fix it in Shortmarks because the character is being sent correctly in the URL.

my bet, i was to quick: you're right, most searches work correct, the problem only appears in some searches. i found it on imdb.com, criticker.com and my local library, https://opac.ub.uni-mainz.de/ and on amazon.com resp. amazon.de.
so, propably, this isn't a problem of shortmarks, i guess ... -

Matthias, could you give me an example of the problem you're having? I searched for ä on Google, Bing and Wikipedia through the address bar and through Shortmarks directly and the searches worked as expected. Also, what browser, version and OS are you on?
