Easier step by step tutorial for lite user
Hi Jaden
Wonder if you would appreciate some positive constructive observation - Count me in as a lite web user that is I use Youtube tutorials ALL the time as the visual/rewind enables less knowledgable users like me to get things done
Question/Idea - Could you make the tutorial easier for a lite web user who has a big bookmark requirement and thrives on clear Youtube tutorials.
I spend time finding those that seem to have grasped the laymans prespective and can walk through and teach from that perspective
Could you redo the tutorial and slow down a bit on and make the individual actions a bit slower using clear examples - I know I can rewind but for example the first instruction after 6 seconds of Control L had me rewinding 10 times and I have entered control L and did not get any further there.
I have entered a shortcut and can reach my desired website by enteringmf
in your Shortcuts browesr bar but I thought the idea was having once entered it and saved it in Shortmarks, I would be able to enter the abbreviation direct into the google address bar . Is this the case ?
Love the idea of the site and would persevere and more than happy to be a lab rat in the computer dummy group ( if indeed you are aiming to be able to reach out to people like me)
Currently from first experience cant see how it saves me any time
Cant enter my abbreviation into the Chrome browser for shortcut
Tutuorial doesnt help me that much
Hope you can help by providing a dummies tutorial
. Love the idea and want to participate in your project. Hope to hear from you otherwise I`ll just wander off and look elsewhere . Either way, good luck with your venture
Best
Nile
Love the idea of what you are doing but You lost me at press Control L ? ie tried to press it - sure it all makes sens
I would love to do this, but I just don’t have the time. The short answer to be able to search from the browser address bar is to go to this page and click the “Add shortmarks as search engine” button. https://shortmarks.com/help/default-search-engine.php

Thanks for the comment. Would screenshots with text work better to make things clear? You wouldn't need to rewind to catch what you missed and could spend your time on each image as long as you needed.
I plan to do both and would appreciate your input on what you'd like to see. It's hard sometimes to know how much detail to go into. If I do too much, it can be overwhelming, but if I do too little, it runs the risk of being confusing.
